See your photos in motion.

Spatial Motion adds depth and slow camera movement to your photos, while your slideshow plays as usual.

Spatial Motion

Beta · iOS 17+ · Android 10+ Pixette Premium
Made from a single photo in Pixette. The motion loops back and forth, just as it does when you pause a spatial photo.

Depth and movement

Pixette uses the depth in a photo to move gently around the subject, closer in or further away. The movement varies between photos.

No waiting between photos

Your slideshow keeps playing while Pixette prepares a photo in the background. When it is ready, it plays next. Faster devices can show spatial photos more often.

Everything stays on your device

Your photos are processed on your device, without being uploaded. A one-time download of about 50 MB (about 90 MB on Android) is needed when you first turn the feature on.

How to turn it on

  1. Open Settings → Playback in Pixette.

  2. Turn on Spatial motion and wait for the one-time download.

  3. Start your slideshow. Spatial photos appear when they are ready.

A few things to know

What happens to Ken Burns?

Spatial Motion replaces Ken Burns while it is on. Photos that have not been prepared stay still. If you pause on a spatial photo, its motion keeps looping back and forth.

What you need

Pixette Premium and at least 4 GB of memory, on an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later, or on an Android device running Android 10 or later. If you do not see the setting, your device or app version does not support it.

Some photos work better than others

This is still a beta. You may see distortion around hair, thin objects or the edges of people. A single photo cannot show what is hidden behind them, so the result will not always look right.
